As a fan of MMA, once in a while a story comes along that just make you laugh, cry, and scratch your head in utter bewilderment all within a 12 hour period. This is one of those stories.
On Friday August 8th, it was reported by TMZ Sports (among many MMA news outlets) that former UFC fighter and current Bellator fighter Jonathan Koppenhaver AKA War Machine had been "allegedly" involved in an altercation, and that WM had been released from Bellator. How could a promotion release somebody just based on speculation? When a guy has had 5 different assault charges brought against him since 2007, I'm sure the term 'zero tolerance' was brought up.
In the subsequent hours/days, details started surfacing, including grotesque pictures of the now identified pornstar Christy Mack (NSFW/NSFL), along with a string of Tweets from WM, pleading his innocence:
I'm not a bad guy, I went to surprise my gf, help her set up her show and to give her an engagement ring and ended up fighting for my life.

Amazingly, these tweets still have not been taken down. To me this proves that WM hasn't confided in any sort of legal consul or asked anybody within his camp about advice on how he should handle this situation. If he had, these tweets would never have happened and they certainly would have been removed by now. The detailed account that he outlines will certainly be used against him. That is, if the authorities ever find him.
That's right, the War Machine still hasn't been caught. The guy who wears a shirt claiming "I do alpha male shit" and tweets "real men rape" has been able to stay one step ahead of the authorities for nearly 5 days now. Where could he be hiding out? According to his brother, possibly Canada but definitely not San Diego:
& if you think he's still in san diego youre atleast half retarded

So what do you do when a fugitive leaves your jurisdiction and gets charged with assault with a deadly weapon? It's time to call in the experts. No, not the FBI or the SWAT team, I'm talking about Dog the Bounty Hunter.

After Christy Mack recovered from her injuries, it's reported that her people contacted Dog to get on the case. Within minutes, Dog sent a message to War Machine, stating "You have 24 hours to turn yourself in. After that I'm coming after you!" Whether or not WM actually received this message is another story in itself, but it's reported that he has made contact with WM via phone and his close to tracking him down. As this story develops/WM is captured by the Dog, I'll keep it updated.
