Edgar vs Henderson Rematch?/Dakota Cochrane Speaks, and Tate vs Rousey on SHO

Edgar vs Henderson II?
It seems that whenever there is a controversial decision involving a championship in the UFC, an immediate rematch is called for, sometimes even by Joe Rogan during the post fight interviews inside the cage. This was not the case with Edgar; in fact, Dana White himself said he wanted to see Edgar move to featherweight. Frankie is opposed to doing this, and rightfully so. If anyone deserves a rematch for their belt, it's this guy. After he beat BJ Penn to win the LW title, Penn got a rematch and he beat him again, similarly Gray Maynard's immediate rematch following their draw, in which Edgar produced a stunning KO. Now it is being rumored that Edgar will indeed get his rematch, and it's really the right thing to do. It was unfortunate that Edgar caught that upkick from Henderson that caused so much damage to his face, and may have swayed the judges' decisions; in a rematch I can see Edgar being more cautious and taking back the belt. Last night on UFC Tonight, Kenny Florian made a good point that some guys just bruise easier than others, it doesn't mean they are necessarily losing the fight. In any event, I'd love to see the rematch, The Answer deserves it.

Dakota Cochrane Addresses His Gay Porn Past

Yesterday I ran a story about Dakota Cochrane, a fighter on the upcoming season of TUF:Live who had been exposed as a one time gay porn star. Well, the MMA Show caught up with him to get the story straight(no pun intended) and he did in fact confirm that he was in gay porn but now he "isn't gay" and "I did what I had to do for money". How about getting an office job? Or maybe as a waiter? I mean c'mon man you're from Nebraska, not South Central L.A. or Harlem. I'm not buying it. Here's the interview at the spot where he comes in:

Miesha Tate vs Ronda Rousey for Strikeforce Bantamweight Title

There's no word on whether Gina Carano will continue her fighting career, or if she will just continue making movies and being incredibly sexy. If she chooses the latter, I really can't blame her, and if it is the case, women's MMA needs to find a new face. Quick to recover from Cristiane 'Cyborg' Santos' positive drug test, management has set up a women's superfight in Tate vs Rousey. Both women are fairly hot (I give Rousey a slight edge) and both women are submission specialists. Going forward I can really see Rousey becoming the new face of women's MMA, and submitting Tate would be the first step. Tate does have the advantage in the striking game though, so it'll be interesting to see how long these ladies decide to stay standing up. The fight is this Saturday on Showtime, but like many others, I'll watching on FirstRowSports.
